TLK: Ahadi

I went to see The Lion King in 3D last Thursday with my auntie, Angie. It was absolutely fantastic! When that opening scene came on, and that little baby giraffe winces at the bright sunlight, my happiness level was sky high, I was on the verge of crying with happiness, since then, I don't think I've seen that film in like a year! Everyone it totally bigging it up at the moment, everyone knows it's the best film in the world, but I still think it's so underrated! It can never ever get the love it deserves, because it's just too amazing! It's off the awesomeness scale!
And I will tell you now, when Mufasa died, I cried a little bit... Okay, that's a lie - I cried a lot, so why, as a sixteen year old girl, did I cry like a baby when Simba goes up to his father's dead body? I'm getting a little choked up just thinking about it! I think now, I can appreciate the real narrative of a movie like this, and I can understand every emotion now. I kind of wish that I could see it again for the first time to appreciate the real greatness of the story. It was my favourite movie when I was a baby, but back then, I don't think I really understood it like I do now.
Anyway, as a former The Lion King Fan-Art Archive user, it'd be cray-cray if I didn't get inspiration for a drawing.
It's a little off-topic to the actual Lion King movie, but this is Mufasa and Scar's father, Ahadi. Quite proud of this, as I think I've lost my touch for drawing lions!
